Joan enjoys tackling the challenge in bringing together diverse interests to create elegant, yet practical, solutions to difficult design problems. She believes in the importance of socially conscious and environmentally responsible design and looks for opportunities to incorporate their tenets within the appropriate context throughout the design process.

 

As Architect, her work on I.S.323M and P.S./I.S.49Q Addition included creating construction documents, designing and detailing furniture layouts, and generating renderings to visually articulate design concepts to clients and assist in coordination across various trades.

Joan earned a Master's of Architecture from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor's of Science in Physiological Science and Art History from UCLA. Since joining Ciardullo Architecture & Engineering, Joan has proven to be an indispensable member of the architectural team and looks forward to continuing to improve everyday lives through the implementation of quality architectural spaces.
